Covid-19 and our service
TVCSA are doing essential medical passenger journeys during lockdown, including for vaccinations, using its own team of Covid safe volunteer drivers and we are continuing to support the community.
We are available to deliver prescriptions and shopping and are also using the DVDs, CDs, books, jigsaws etc from the charity shop to provide entertainment packs to those who are stuck are home with nothing to do.

We are working closely with NYCC to coordinate with groups in Tadcaster and the surrounding villages, services are available to anyone in the area. Please contact us if you have concerns for the welfare of family and friends. We will make sure the local support group gets in contact with them and ensures they are being cared for.
Our aim is to provide transport in Tadcaster and surrounding area for people who cannot conveniently use other publicly provided transport. We are willing to accept anyone who meets our criteria within the limits of our volunteer resources, however we do not operate specialist disabled transports.
Our volunteer drivers provide transport for individuals to attend medical appointments (eg. doctors, hospital, dentist, etc.); shopping; or other social activities.
However, we are not a taxi service and reserve the right to refuse journeys which do not meet the aims of the Association.
All are drivers are subject to DBS checks
Cars must be PRE-BOOKED
All journeys must be booked at least 2 days in advance. If you are booking and wish to speak to an Administrator, you need to ensure that you telephone on 01937 835600 during office hours: Mon-Fri 9.30am - 2.00pm.
When staff are unavailable, an answer phone is left on, so please leave a message and they will get back to you as soon as they can.
