Car Scheme
Our aim is to provide transport in Tadcaster and surrounding area for people who cannot conveniently use other publicly provided transport. We are willing to accept anyone who meets our criteria within the limits of our volunteer resources, however we do not operate specialist disabled transports.
Our volunteer drivers provide transport for individuals to attend medical appointments (eg. doctors, hospital, dentist, etc.); shopping; or other social activities.
However, we are not a taxi service and reserve the right to refuse journeys which do not meet the aims of the Association.
All are drivers are subject to DBS checks
How to use our service
Booking
All journeys must be pre-booked at least 2 days in advance and can be done by phoning us at:

Office hours
If you are booking and wish to speak to an Administrator, you need to phone during office hours:
Mon-Fri 9.30am - 2.00pm.
Out of hours
When staff are unavailable, an answer phone is left on, so please leave a message and they will get back to you as soon as they can.
